Disappointment

Why should we be keeping things from one another?
whats the reason for being so complicated,
when we can actually be so simple and true?
Masks we put on so many of it,
to the extent that we dont know who we are anymore.
I thought i knew you,i thought.
But i was proven wrong time and time again.
Seems that you are like any others,
even to me you put on a dozen of masks.
I misplaced my trust in humans

I've tried too hard to love
so burdened now,i don't wanna try anymore.
